New Property Spotlight!
Situated in southeastern Los Angeles County, Promenade at Downey is its community’s new gathering spot and tourist destination, merging retail, dining, and entertainment with a one-of-a-kind history walk.
Honoring Downey’s historical connection to the NASA space program and motion picture production, the Promenade features a history walk that is a self-guided tour through the property’s entertainment court. Reading stations and in-ground medallions representing space missions and blockbuster films tell the story of Downey’s contributions to air/space exploration and movie making.
Throughout the project, architectural nods to Downey’s aerospace heritage help create a unique modern aesthetic. Wing overhangs, a heat shield inspired “splash down” fountain and tensile/fabric shading define the look of the property.
